Exploring the universe of the beta investment strategy and helping institutional investors understand all of their options.
Oracle AI World
Held in Las Vegas, it serves as a central pillar for media announcements, sales, customer retention, and customer training.
The website’s role is to drive registrations that come through organic search, paid search, and email campaigns.
The evolution
Phase 1
Formerly known as OpenWorld, this event had not taken place since 2019. In 2022 we had to start from scratch, most everyone who ran the event in 2019 were gone.
We created a new design system and codebase and created our first event website, meant to drive registrations. This laid the foundations for future events at Oracle.
The 2022 Website focused on code and accessibility improvements, paving the way for future design improvements.
The evolution
Phase 2
The next two years we focused on building upon our limited codebase to optimize for conversions and a more refined user experience. Knowledge gained from the previous year led to redesigns and more complex interactions.
The evolution
In 2025 we abandoned the old design system and codebase in favor of a new codebase we had been simultaneously building in the background for all of Oracle.com.
This allowed for a more flexible use of brand imagery; and had SEO, Accessibility, and Performance gains.
We work with the Demand Gen team to layout initial site content strategy.
The Demand Gen team creates these for each page. They start with a rough outline and then they are flushed out with more detail.
The UX Team selects components and lays out each pages content, usually a few rounds of revisions occur until it’s right.
When no existing component fits the content we design a new one to best showcase the message.
The dev team coded new components and connected them using APIs to our third party registration partner.
The brand team is in charge of the whole event’s visuals. We help them understand how to apply this to our codebase.
Words are often tweaked up until new pages are pushed live.
The publishing team assembles the code, content and images in our CMS before ultimately pushing the pages live, based on a content calendar.
The results
This year’s site improvements allowed us to increase organic website registrations by 12% year over year.
